I had a casehead separate in my AR-10. Can anybody suggest how to get the rest of the case that is stuck in my chamber out? Tried .30 cal brush down barrel on clean rod. It's stuck pretty good. Any suggestions appreciated.

Might consider pulling the barrel off for easier access without damaging/scratching the receiver up.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I have heard of people using cerrosafe and a wooden dowel to tap the case out.

But who prays for Satan? Who, in eighteen centuries, has had the common humanity to pray for the one sinner that needed it most?

Thanks for all the info. Ended up bringing to gunsmith. He put scope down barrel and could not find front piece of brass.

When separation occurred I found the head but not the front piece. Must have ejected the front piece. I closed bolt and did not go all the way so I thought only thing could be case head separation. Thinking back now I did not slam the bolt then so as not to jam even further. Lesson learned!!
