Been experimenting with carnitas, and finally found a winning recipe. I rubbed a pork butt down with salt, pepper, garlic, cumin, paprika, chili powder, cayenne, and Italian seasonings. Then it went in the crockpot with a cinnamon stick, 2 bay leaves, to juiced limes, and a cup of orange juice. Low for 8-9 hours and then shredded, crisped on the griddle, and served on corn tortillas with peppers/onions and green cholula hot sauce.

I did one not too long ago with an Instant Pot. It was really good but I expected more of an authentic Latin American flavor. I'd do it again though, it sure was easy with the IP>.
not sure what the best way to handle them is but they shouldnt be on tv and gettn married and raisin kids
