I know it’s routine, but still a tad nervous. My eyes are bad. Always have been. I had cataract surgery in the right eye 5 years ago. But I also have some retina issues in that one. So I rely on my “good” left eye. That’s why tomorrow’s surgery is kind of a big deal for me. In saying your prayers, please add a line or 2 that I’ll have a good outcome. I appreciate it. We know from the book of James that “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”

My dad had both eyes done in his 80's and doesn't have to wear glasses and he loves it. He said it was a piece of cake.

My wife has had it done in both of her eyes in the past 4 years. Piece of cake both times.

Had both my eyes done about 5 years ago by Dr Malone in Huntsville. Got the premium implants so I only need reading glasses. Life changing is an understatement. You’re gonna be just fine, Anthony, but I’ll send one up for you.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Well, so far, so good I reckon. I didn’t read the eye chart that well at the post op visit this afternoon. But doc said I was still dilated, swollen, all that. Said it should improve over 24-48 hours. I figure I’ll still need some glasses and I got a Li’l pair of drugstore readers to type this. Eye feels a bit scratchy. The drops are a pain and will be for a month. I came home and shouldered the rifle and could see the crosshairs. I was proud of that. If I can get to 20/30, even with glasses, I’ll be very pleased. Everyone at the eye center was great. It’s a long day though. Thank y’all for lifting me up and encouraging me. It’s already better than it was with the cataract.
