Bluff Springs Hunting Club
has 1 opening for the 19/20 deer and turkey season. This is our 3rd yr as a club. We have about 1460ac all on big creeks in north coffee county above Elba al. We have about 18 plots all have stands and majority have a feeder. We plant summer and winter plots. We shoot 6pt or better or 3 on one side bucks must be even with the ears. Each membership is allowed 5 bucks, 2 does and 2 turkeys. The club runs on a sign in/out board. Areas and plots can’t be hunted more that 3 days straight per membership then it’s a 3 days break before membership can hunt it again. 3 mandatory work days or $100 a day missed being paid before being allowed to hunt. There’s no camp, power or water. 12 member max at $1260 that includes summer and winter plots and feed. 1st yr we only killed a big 5 pt but we only had 565ac and 4 members. Last season we had 3 does, 2-6pts, 5-7pts, 1-8pt & 2-10pts. 3344066713

We have some contiguous land to this club and our land produces some of the best bucks we kill every year. Good hunting area. We had a couple of 135 to 140" bucks this year from that area.

If they are over 100 yards away and are out of sight they are legal, aren't they?

I seriously doubt that would fly very well on a food plot.

Why shouldn't it? Where does it say in the available literature that it wouldn't. Nowhere I have seen that a food plot area is exempt. One of the drawings I saw that was provided by the game and fish shows a food plot in the area of the supplemental feeding spot, 100 yards away and out of sight. The part that doesn't fly is the vague rule/law and the interpretation of it by various game wardens.

Don’t ya love all the aldeer game wardens on here. It’s southwest of Spring Hill. The feeders are 100 yards out of sight for all the smartass’s on here. If your not interested in the club just keep scrolling
