Same here but they will never do that as long as that idot Corey Morea is the head deer management guy. That jerk is the enemy of all deer hunters in FL. He will never allow Hunter to harvest does outside of the limited doe days. It's all bs anyway. Those FL biologists are all bunny huggers that don't hunt and want to take away our hunting rights.

Florida is just like any state, areas with big rack deer and areas you can't see a deer. Just walk across the rode and it all changes. Areas with a lot of small properties and some unique. Some areas need the season closed due to lack of deer some could allow a large doe harvest. Some bucks will compete with an Alabama just got to let them grow. They killed a huge buck down there that was in a protected area that was poached. Great potential 5 bucks is too many for some areas for sure. I know of a 2000 acre area there may be 10 bucks total on it before season opens 5-7 afterwards if some make it. Meat eaters don't care about size or limits!

I've fished from Wewa to Wimico,and there's no shortage of deer down there...

I hope I never have to go back to Tate's Hell Swamp. In the 70's there were 4 of us that spent a little over a week in August cruising a big tract of timber in that damn place. Hot, wire grass, piece of crap tract of land.
