Vest looks like an Ol Tom Time & Motion Easy Rider, with the addition of the Claw straps. I actually ordered one, yesterday. I couldn't tell if Dave's had a special hydration bladder pouch on the back, or if it was just the spine pad.

Seems like he's pretty much always got a camelbak bladder (or off-brand) on whichever vest he's wearing....now, depending on the vest he may have had it added by someone that can sew.

Didn't happen to be the Nomad MG vest did it? I almost bought one of them if the Alps Grand Slam hadn't worked out. Liked the way it fit and the layout seemed pretty good.

I've also been curious about whatever happened to this deal as well? I understand they make quality stuff but they're real proud of it too.

Yep...folks can laugh if they want, but being able to do basic, functional sewing on a machine is a game changer. I'm in the process of learning now. Being able to alter a vest, or hem a pair of paints since most camo manufacturers think everyone on earth has a 32" inseam, or stitching up the seat of your pants when you rip it, jumping up to grab a bird....that's huge.

Yes it is, it still blows my mind to see the stuff those birds walk through. Especially seeing it first hand this year just how thick and swampy habitat they live in.

What's up with the mossy oak app thing? Is it free? I wish they'd just put them on YouTube
