I'm waiting on daylight now. Heard 2 birds yesterday. I got to my club at 4:45 and my buddy had already pinned out on where I was going..bastage! I'm going with by backup bird this morning. Skipping church today. I'll do a little sunrise praise and worship in the hardwoods this morning lol.

I hunted this mornin but didnt hunt long, ive still yet to hear a turkey gobble...they just ain actin right where i was, but ive got some private land not far from where i was hunting that im savin til a little later in season that i put cameras on an looked around an i found alot of sign but they aint talkin there neither so my feelins aint hurt to bad. Folks i know round there aint heard much lately neither so they need a little more time. Ill hunt next saturday with my wife shell be on the gun tryin to kill her first.

Heard 4 this morning. Hunted one till 11 . He cut me off 3 or 4 times but wouldn't come more than half way

Hunted this morning, heard 3, maybe 4 different birds gobbling between 6:25 - 6:35. After that, not a peep the rest of the day until I left at 11. Hopefully, I'll be able to head back out Wednesday morning for a quick hunt.

Still no gobbles for me. Seen hens every time. Been deer hunting them some, still nothing. They will come around eventually. Hope I don’t lose my patience before then.

Yeah that was my problem Saturday. Had to about be under em to hear one. All this wind and sunlight has really dried out the leaves. We could use a quarter inch of rain er so .

Good luck mauser. I'm working till noon today then heading out to the Turkey woods. Taking off a couple days next week for spring break so hopefully I can kill one !
