Congrats buddy! I figured it was just a matter of time. It’s been slow on my end, but we did manage to get my fiancé her first bird this weekend. I may have one more hunt in bama. The good news is that I’ll be in Nebraska and Oklahoma next week, and probably a quick run to Indiana the following week.

We’ve got a decent shot at it. I believe there’s atleast 7 birds between weagle, yak, and myself to be entered.

Congrats guys, I have been messing with a couple different gobblers but I doubt either would be an upgrade to what I already have.

Way to go fellas. I posted one of the Rios I killed that had a double beard the other day so I should have 3 good ones in the contest. I’m pretty much done in Bama for the year. I head to Indiana next week for a day and then Nebraska on the 15th but I imagine the contest will be shut down by then, but maybe I’ll scrap up an upgrade bird in the next week. This team has been STRONG!!

I killed another good bird today, but not enough for an upgrade.

Dang guys, y'all been wearing them out! Congrats on the birds. Looks like I'm going to be the weak link. Birds on my club have vanished. Seeing some tracks but not getting many pics and they not talking. Been hunting some public land but either not hearing anything close on their or having some very courteous hunters move in and try to cut a bird off. Hoping we hear one in the morning but not going to be first shooter, will have my nephew with me hoping to get his first bird.

I killed my third for the year Saturday! Having trouble getting pics to upload from my phone but he will be a nice addition to my scores. I'm gonna go for one more time in the morning after that bird in Coosa co. He's a helluva good turkey too and would be an upgrade if I can somehow pull it off.

Congrats doc, and good luck tomorrow. We’ve killed a few out west, but it’s been pretty awful. It’s never taken us more than 1.5 days to kill 6 birds on this place before. Tons and tons of jakes and I believe they’ve got the longbeards run off.

Looks like we will have 16 of 18 birds entered, maybe that will be enough to pull this off. Definitely the best team I’ve been a part of.

Congrats doc. I am pretty sure team 1 will have their 18 birds. It will be close, but will take 18 birds to win it I do believe. It has been a fun season though.

Got close to best gobbling bird I've heard all yr on Sunday morning with my nephew. He was roosted right on edge of 3 property corner. We had help, well I should say competition, from one of our neighbors but he give up pretty quickly. I got bird to gobble 2 more times but think he was off property in a creek bottom. We swung around to bottom off line alittle but couldn't get him to gobble again.

I've been back after this bird the past 2 mornings. Our property and 1 of the other 2 are clearcuts and bird was roosted in a group of trees left standing in a bottom in our clearcut sunday. The bottom was b/t 2 big hills so monday I got inside the tree line on top of one of the hills 45 min before daybreak. The sorry sucker was across corner of clearcut close to where I parked. I was able to stay in timber to swing back around to where i parked but never could get him to gobble. So this morning i stayed at edge of clearcut where i park and he's (or a bird) is all the way on other side of clearcut. I went to gasline hoping it was close to him and he stayed near his roosting spot. So far it seems like he didn't do that.

Nice bird doc. We are driving back from Oklahoma now. Hunting was terrible. Gonna make a quick run to Indiana next weekend, then it will be time to hang it up for the year.
