I got the navionics chip because lakemaster didn't have the coosa lakes on them.

Lakemaster far and away better for every lake I have ever been on, it's not even close on the coosa the lakemaster wins hands down

I became 10x better fishing offshore when I switched from lowrance with navionics to hummingbird with lakemaster. I heard navionics was upgrading their maps and hope they did. If they did not and you use navionics you are at a disadvantage before the fishing starts imo.

Where’s the best place to buy one Ben? Does airport marine sell them? I heard they just came out with the updated 5.0 version for southeastern lakes

I have both and would recommend people buy both if you are going to be fishing all over like I do. There are some lakes that Navionics does better, but not many. If I was to only get one, it'd be Lakemaster.

Nor do they have Wedowee, and unless it's on the new 5.0, they don't have Weiss either.

Lake master has RLHarris listed but not in bold type? I'm not sure what that means.
