Tatum, I'm sitting here reading my AON. GREAT buck! Are those antlers a result of summer planting? Ag? Sup feeding? Habitat enhancement? Or, did that buck just grow those antlers off natural browse and fall food plots? Just curious. I'd love to think that such a buck could happen often on just natural browse and nutrition but can't help but to think you probably manage habitat and QDM, which is great but anyway, I was just wondering.

I'm happy for you! And with a BOW!!! Your heart had to have been POUNDING out of your chest! Congrats!

"I entered the truck buck contest for week 5"

you just might have a shot at winning your week. wink

I'm guessing he will go 150 all day long.

I'd start practicing now. That egg is hard to hit.

Bucktrott Natural Browse and summer and fall planting is all we do. We do fertilze some natural browse in the fall. We dont "fool with Mother Nature" ... not to much anyway. We do shoot the crap out of does.

That is one great Buck!!! You are right about killing one that big with your bow, it is just never the same after that with a gun.

Did you get it on private property or in Bankhead? I know there are some supper sized monsters running around Bankhead.
