Anybody had any experience with the mossy oak gun wraps? Was of installation? Thinking about wrapping my 20ga 870. Waiting on mine to get back from the gunsmith for drilling/tapping. Going to wrap when it gets back and will report when I finish.

If not done correctly a wrap can cause rust underneath. I’d spray paint it. Ive spray painted a couple guns an they look pretty dang cool.

I have spray painted one of mine. I tried removing it and can’t. Tried everything except sand blasting Use Citristrip paint stripper. It’s safe on metal. I’ve used it several times when painting or repainting guns.

I used the tape from mossy oak graphics. It's not the wraps they sell that has sections pre cut to fit on each Part of shotgun. I just cut material where I thought it needed to be cut, then used the heat gun to fit to that section. Also need a exto knife to trim. Mine is not like a professional would do but I'm happy with it A heat gun is recommended.
if i hadnt taken up hunting i might have became a juvenile delinquent or worst taken up GOLF

I have spray painted one of mine. I tried removing it and can’t. Tried everything except sand blasting I use acetone, and haven't seen a spray paint yet I couldn't simply wipe off with very little elbow grease.

I've done 2 guns and they both came out really good. Use a hair dryer or heat gun, exo knife and take you time.

That's a pretty slick paintjob. If it was dark green/gray it would be pretty dang close to OG bottomland. Yep. It's more ASAT looking in those colors.
