Good choice. I've built several AR's using PSA parts and have been very satisfied with their quality.

Yep that will be your first. Then you’ll order another from them. They have good stuff at great prices.

You could do much worse, methinks.

Stag M4
Is a better starter rifle IMO it's a little more money but it comes with front and removable rear carry handle sights already installed, chrome lined barrel, mil-spec manganese phosphate coated M16 BCG and a transferable lifetime warranty that includes infinite shot barrel.

I’ve probably built 20-30 ARs with various PSA parts, kits, uppers, lowers, etc....and had zero issues that I can recall and they’re all 100% reliable and fairly to seriously accurate. For budget builds, PSA is hard to beat on bang for $. Sure, there’s better for being more serious or focus specific, but there’s not much to talk down about on their stuff.

I have a PSA I put together and it’s just as much fun to shoot as the one that costed more.

I've used a LOT of PSA parts and never had an issue with any of them. Their low end barrels are even pretty dang accurate

I have a few PSA builds. I don't believe you will find better value than what PSA offers.

I have taken 2 of my PSA builds to 600yd at the CMP. Both stayed inside the 9 ring at 600yds shooting prone with only a sling for support, no bags or bipods.

Check out Ghost Firearms. Better finish than PSA. PSA isnt junk but there is a lot of good items that are very low cost these days. If you are a builder, then Primary Arms should be on your radar. They have amazing sales on a regular basis. If you use PSA, just remember to oil everything heavily as they do not have the best finishes. DSA arms is another good retailer. Good Luck.
