I had never heard of it before. But seen several videos where folks in TX was making a wire cage and filling it with cotton seed, most were putting it next to there protein feeders. Said coons wouldn't eat it because of a chemical it contains but ruminants had no problem with the chemical. Figured you might could get some from a gin but not sure where the closest gin to Walker Co would be.

It doesn’t flow worth a shucks outta a feeder. But can be done. One of my cotton farmers had pile of cows and he’s making his own corn/cottonseed feed. He’s making me a trial run for deer
