I will be hunting Freedom Hills today. I have finally got me a easterly wind. I’m going to slip in after daylight, so I can be quiet. I sure hope I can catch big boy walking around in his bedding area. Tight quarters and a shaky tree. It’s going to be a challenge to get drawn back on him. Rising thermals is going to be a plus also. Good luck y’all.
It is hard to kill or catch anything sitting on the couch!

The one buck that I’m after is pretty much nocturnal, he has shown up right at last light a few times so I’ll give it a try this afternoon.

Well I got down at 11:00 and run one off walking out. Then I seen 9 more deer scattered in different places while scouting. Looks like 10:00-2:00 is the best deer movement from what I gathered today. I’m hunting the edge of a bedding area on a fire break this afternoon. I seen two does right at dark yesterday. I’m close to the truck, so does beware.
