I only had one deer get within 40 yards of me at 3:30 and smelt me. It could have been him approaching from down wind? I never could see it running off.

I’m searching for a light lock on, but I don’t want it to small. I want the climbing sticks to attach separate and not together like a ladder. I seen the lone wolf has a quiver to hold the climbing sticks. It looks like a quite set up. I won’t leave it up a tree. I want it for mobile hunting and getting hid on the smart deer. Bankhead= dumb deer never look up, Freedom Hills= smart deer and must be hid or they will pick you off a lot, Ohio= smartest deer I have ever hunted as far as looking up. The stand and sticks must be around 24 pounds total or less. I really could have used one today. I would have paid good money.

Just lay the sticks on top of the stand and attach with bungee cords. Add a kidney belt and molle ii shoulder straps with chest buckle. The assault platform doesn't have holes for the footrest whereas the alpha does. Just fyi.
It is easier to fool a man than to convince him he has been fooled.

speaking of latest and greatest lock on stands, I saw a video on a new lone wolf that weights 7lbs. they are asking stupid money for it but it is light. Probably a lot more comfortable than these old loc on brand stands I have. I would like to sit in one and see. Yeah that’s a fine set up, but coming in at around 1000 bucks for sticks and stand is crazy prices. I use lone wolf sticks with the rope mod and millenium stands. 4 sticks and a aider strap on the bottom gets me easy 20 ft

JD, your welcome to borrow my M60U and Helium sticks to see if u like them. Weighs about like a climber.
