Regs say no hunting during youth,gun and primative deer season. Does that mean you cannot hunt squirrel on skyline from Oct 15th through feb.? Trying to find a better place than my steep land to take my daughter tomorrow.

No squirrel hunting on days of youth, primitive or rifle hunts

I see that. But can't you hunt with bow all year and with gun on some weekends. So basically no squirrel hunting. Does it mean on youth days ? Or days of all ages, any weapon.

Only time you cant small game hunt on a WMA generally is when people are able to gun/muzzleloader deer hunt. NF you can small game hunt season long.

Skyline would be the last place I’d take a kid squirrel hunting tomorrow or all weekend

You can squirrel hunt days when there is no rifle hunts.
Or you can not squirrel hunt days when there is rifle hunts going on.
You can bow hunt deer on rifle hunts but must follow the rules for the rifle hunts.
