One pair is still in plastic. the other I tool out to look at and try on.

I wear a 34" and wanted something bigger for a baselayer under these, but they are too big.
Reads large on tags , but is 40" around waist.

I never returned them, but ordered the mediums in same pants.
I've been wearing the mediums and have been pleased.
100% cotton, great construction.

I'll take one pair - ever get down around Oakman? And does it measure 40" with the straps let all the way out or how they are in the picture?

It measures 40" with the straps let all the way out. Straps are all the way out in the 3rd picture.

I get up to Oakman on occasion, but rarely.

I can meet at Field's Grocery on Hwy 69 at County road 38 if you want.
