So if Trump didn't shut down the gov, then you are saying the Oregon that voted for Hillary, would vote for Trump in 2020? I think you are wrong.

It’s complete and utter BS that the politicians are still getting paid while other employees are not. It gives them no incentive to negotiate because it doesn’t affect them either way. Politicians have proven long ago they don’t care about the American people. Why would now be any different?

Yeah. That's the real question.

The problem is the average American only sees this through the lens of a biased media and doesn't have the initiative to research the entire problem on their own, they just allow said media to dictate the narrative for them. Henceforth the propaganda that is spewed is what is shared as truth. The democrats in Congress knew they won this battle before they even took vacation in Puerto Rico and the longer it goes on the stronger their chances for taking the White House in 2020 become. I can't stand that even rolling off my keys to type it but it's the absolute truth.

Completely blows my mind that people dont make this at least a minimum goal. That should be the first thing done when you enter the real world work force and not hard to do if you put off the shiny new things you think you need to keep up with the jones.

The amount of well paid gov employees that are starving to death because of being out of work for 1 month completely amazes me.

Trump made campaign promises, was voted into office and is doing what he has to to deliver. It will be a shame if he only gets 4 years of results.

Ive sold a building and it is a USDA loan. It was supposed to close end of December but the USDA is closed and not processing. It is a $150,000 deal . Im not crying. I wont get it until the government reopens and NOW it still may not go through as the buyers were approved until 1/12.

The one person IM not blaming is Trump.

People crying over not getting paid should blame the dems. Trump is trying to work with them and they wont do it.

You live on the "Left Coast" Kodiak and I think your getting influenced by your leftie Media out there.

The last I recall, trump gave the dem's a bill and they refused to sign it and instead went on vacation. So how is this on trump?

Cause he specifically is the reason young folks aren't getting paid, in their opinion

Problem is this isn't being taught and hasn't been taught for many years. People today grew up watching mom and dad struggle and barely get by and somehow didn't learn anything from it and accept the paycheck to paycheck lifestyle, OR like I once did, get a decent paying job and can "afford" the shiny new nice to have things that they've never had before not thinking about what could happen. I've been there and done just exactly that. Grew up dirt poor and when I could "afford" (make payments) I splurged and it almost cost me everything I had in 2009. Its an endless cycle that isnt being taught against at home or in school. It creates a dependent society and that seems to be what the guberment and majority want. Economics and money management should be a requirement to graduate high school but that goes along with proper and truthful history classes too.

Im from Alabama and not influenced by anyone, lol. Just stating a fact if you read my 1st 2 posts. Trum9 is at fault the same as others. For him to state that all gov employees back him is a lie. I haven't said I dont back him if you read what I've typed...

They are probably of that opinion if they are already dems... Ive heard plenty of people my age out of work (30s) that said trump is just doing what has to be done, that the left if keeping the deal from working.

I think it goes a little deeper than you think. Maybe im wrong

Why is it Trumps fault? All the Dems have to do is fund the wall and problem solved! They will obstruct anything Trump wants to do! They are to blame!

So if Trump didn't shut down the gov, then you are saying the Oregon that voted for Hillary, would vote for Trump in 2020? I think you are wrong.

No so, why try to put words in my mouth...most of oregon voted Trump, jus Portland swung it which is no surprise.
