So, they're going to vote for a socialist (democrat) instead? Good plan  I don't know who they'll vote for, but from what I've read on social media most of them aren't going to vote for Trump. I think I've seen more post from family members than I have actual active-duty people but I already know their opinions because their spouses do it. Active duty guys aren't going to run their mouths because he's the commander-in-chief That's what everyone said last election too. "Trump's an idiot, I won't vote for him". And then he won. Frankly, it's very hard to support Trump publicly even in conservative areas. But in that voting booth... Last election people weren't losing paychecks... Won't their next paycheck just be twice as much?

Trump ain't playing. Negotiation is his strength.
He's gonna knock out as many campaign promises as he can and now that he's dug in, I don't think he's gonna come out.
As Perch said, agree or not, its good to have someone who stands by what he said he was gonna do. I remember a lot on here saying that would never happen.

1st this is to complete the wall. We already have 930 miles of barrier between USA and Mexico. If barriers dont work, then why does the military use them during battle; trenches, HESCOs, mimes, wires, Jersey barriers, Czech hedgehog, Dragon's teeth, etc. Wonder why military bases have fences surrounding them? They give financial aid to our enimies and will not spend a dime to disrupt the flow of toxic drugs across our borders. They look at Europe without borders and think its wonderful and want the same for the north American continent. They are phucking nuts. The wall will not solve all problems on the southern borders, its just another tool to be used by the agents who are hamstrung by the beaurocrats. I have never believed the wall would be built because there are too many crazies in our OWN country who HATE America and will lay down their own lives to stop it. Getting the money is only the first step, actually building it will be another battle.

Well are we going to build a wall around our coastlines and skies because most terrorists and drugs are flown into the US.... This wall is pure ignorance and an illusion of false security. It will not keep us any safer. What it will do is wreak havoc on the local wildlife and the people who privately own the land they want to build the wall on, forcing the locals from their homes. It seems like so much more harm will be done than good and I dont know about y'all but I for one dont want to be trapped inside a wall with the crooked American government or all the evil Americans which greatly out number the crime rate of all the illegals or terrorists combined.... This shutdown is a sign of a weak President who is throwing a hissy fit to get his way after he lied to the American people promising he could make Mexico pay for it. There are federal workers with families not getting a paycheck and their contracts state they can't obtain secondary jobs. He doesn't really care about American people... You need to stick to cooking wild game because you are showing your ignorance when it comes to protecting a sovereign country. And I’ll never be trapped in my country from a tyrannical government, or thugs, gang bangers, racist fascist groups and drug cartels. I’ll fight to my death to keep it free from all enemies foreign and domestic. I took that oath years ago.

When the dems didnt get their food stamp money and started rioting old Nancy Pelousy wouldve been writing the check for Trumps 5 billion pretty quickly! Her base already got their money. This is affecting military, Homeland Security, Border Agents, ICE agents....mainly Republicans. The dems could care less about the military and the LEOs in our Federal Governmet. They are the party of entitlements. He should have never funded the 2/3's of the budget that gets those entitlement folks their money. The dems would make a deal much quicker when THEIR constituents were freaking out. If it was me, Id NEVER sign any budget UNLESS I got my wall money. Shut down welfare and food stamps and see how quickly things get done by the dems.

Trump should have used the military to build the wall the first year he was in office when that GOP controlled
Congress failed to make the appropriation. It would have already been completed by now and people celebrating.
And I would have moved some military bases to
the border to keep the illegal invaders out.
Including a lot of helicopters.
