Now if Trump somehow P'sses off the Army or Navy..... that's where the numbers come into play. Trump isn't doing anything to the Coasties, the dems are. That's why there isn't anyone up in arms right now..... this whole being mad at him because of the shut down can be just as easily flipped on dems and should be because they had a bill before they went to get hammered on the beaches of Puerto Rico.

Trump is asking for .01% of a 4.3 TRILLION DOLLAR budget.

The amount of 5 BILLION is a trivial amount in the budget. The dems have voted for even more as short as just 2 years ago. 25 billion.....

They are hypocritical losers and are doing this PURELY in resistance to Trump.

He shouldnt have signed any "Stop Gap" budget act. Those finance the Welfare, Food Stamps and other entitlement programs.

He shouldnt have SIGNED any budget at all until there were 5.6 billion dollars for the wall.

Let the entitlement people feel the pain. The dems constituents not getting their welfare checks and food stamps would have resulted in them being really pissed and freaking out. NOW THAT would get the dems behind it. Im sure some of you remember the dems freaking out in stores when their Food Stamp cards werent refilled. That got the dems actually doing something quickly.

Next time he knows better Id hope. I negotiate deals for a living...from a position of STRENGTH. I dont give away the main things my opponents wants and THEN try to negotiate. Thats the "Carrot" I dangle to get things going my way. He should freaking know better.

Coast Guard is not doing their regular duties. Not my BIL in Pensacola anyway. Reduced schedule, I think he said 3 days a week, no parts ordering, no fuel buying, etc. According to him anyway who is coming up to hunt because he has so many days off now.
