i get about 1 to 1 1/2 inch groups with 225g Serria Game Kings in 358 Winchester with BLR. Great gun real joy to carry. Wears a Leupold 2x7.

Same thing I'm shooting. Have you made a greasy spot out of a deer with it yet?

Yep, shooting 200g Barnes TTSX out of it. Taken two bucks with it one at 25 yards the other at 175 both DRT.

Get better groups with the game kings. Have also tried the 200g Hornady FTX in it.

I've been shooting the 200 FTX as well. Not quite as accurate as the Game Kings, same as your experience, but good enough for a 200 yard gun. It's about 1.5 3 shot group. Last deer I shot with a 200 FTX was last season when the bullet hit it looked like someone threw a bucket of blood all over everything on the opposite side of the deer. Seen that on several I have shot with it. He went about 5 yards digging taters with his nose in the dirt. The 200' shoot pretty soft I didn't load them hot didn't see the need they are about 2500.

Glad to know someone else is shooting .358 on here. Probably the best deer cartridge for around our woods I have ever shot. Lot of energy and big bullets... I can't explain it on paper they just whack'em.

I’ve been waiting to shoot one with the 250gr Speer, may step back to the 225 game king.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

Just FYI. The recoil starts building rather quick as you move up bullet weight. It ain't bad at all with a 200 but with a 250, which is my elk/bear hunting load... it will start to get your attention. I'm sure most on here would think it kick the chit outa them. Unless you've got a custom rifle either the BLR or the Ruger M77 or Win 88/100, Savage 99, etc.. None of them weighed all that much. I think I could kill a moose with the 250 honestly. The guys in Alaska love a takedown BLR in .358 they are who have kept it around.

Browning BLR`S I own 3 one is a brand new 7 mag s.s. and not used yet ,I also have 308 win which shoots 1/2 groups at 100 yds. all day long with my handloads,I also have a 300 Win. Mag. that gun shoots 3/4 groups at 100 yds, both guns are S.S. with good leupold scopes on them, triggers are a little nasty, the 300 Win.Mag. has a lot of recoil off the bench but the 300 has a heck of a lot of power too ! I am very impressed at how well these Lever rifles shoot but really BLR`s work just like a good bolt rifle when locked up. I wish Browning would build one in a 338 Win Mag. that would be one heck of a bear gun ! I do want to buy a takedown S.S. in a 30-06 yet just because that is a very common cartridge rifle to travel with.
