Slipped out into my backyard for a bit. Should have went across the street but was lazy and didn’t pay attention to the slight north breeze. I guess I smell cause one deer certainly let me know.

Headed out to deal with a down cow. Cows and deer hunting don’t make a good combo.

seen 2 small bucks at 9 . Gonna give another hour then its Christmas cookies and movies with my family the rest of the day.

Have seen a small 6 and 8 chasing does. It has sounded like a war out here the last 2 days.

Ended up only seeing 2 spikes.... and I scared the chit out of one of em...

About 5 does, big ass spike, and a buck I would have shot had I had a clean opportunity all seen this morning. Love a big clear cut and the right time of year

I reckon I killed a "cullbuck". We have several with deformed horns were trying to kill. I got this one about 7:30am.

Dont make fun of the toboggan. That was my daddys. Ive killed a bunch of deer with that thing on. Broke it out this morning for good luck.

hung out at the house today. Helped out Janet getting ready for tonight with all the kiddos (and grandson's first Christmas). I have downed several bloody mary's tho! May get to hunt tomorrow afternoon with oldest son and wife. We'll see how it goes. Good luck to all!

killed a small 6 with my new bow this morning. tore his lungs up and clipped his heart. he ran about 20 yards staggered around fell. thats two deer with a bow this year and i didnt have to track either one

Went from cold to on fire

Almost got ran over by 2 doe this morning at work. A deer is a real surprise when you think a Guatemalan is what’s coming thru the brush.
