Where is the best site or place to get a good Bankhead map that distinguishes from the forest land and WMA?

IIRC, the walmart in Moulton is where I got mine a few years ago. There's a general store on 33 between Moulton and BNF that probably has them too..

We call it the tree hugger store. Always protesting any thing being done in Bankhead. It's for the trees types. I've heard of a lot of drama when hunters go in there. And it may not be that way now. I just never go in there.

The store is under new owners/ has been for years and they have no issue at all with hunters. The old owner was fine with hunting, he was a hunter and trapped himself in his younger years. He was however somewhat an environmentalist that had issues with how the Forest Service and others misused the forest and it’s resources, mainly timber issues.

May give them a shot then. Just left a bad taste in my mouth last time I was in there. But that was years ago.

Are yall talking about the "trading post" at the intersection of 33 and 36?
