Hey guys just bought a Mossberg 510 mini bantom in 20 gauge for my daughter. It came pre tapped for mounts and have about 80 bucks in Cabela's and 50 at academy to find a turkey/ squirrel scope. If y'all have recommendations or why I should or should not get a scope at all I'd like to hear it. Thanks.

Not yet, just wanting to set her up to succeed. I'm think a scope will help. Not planning on any wing shooting yet.

SWFA has all their Vortex products 15% off. I recently purchased a Vortex Venom 3moa red dot. It seems really nice.

bushnell trs25 can be had for about $50 on Amazon it's a good little red dot sight. has more than enough eye relief I had one on a .22 pistol and it was fine to look thru at full arms length never had any eye relief problems Beat me to it. My turkey gun has a Bushnell Banner 1-4 with the Circle-x plex.

Just bought a trs25. She shot her gun for first time today and did great. Absolutely destroyed a clay traget hanging from a limb. But had some trouble lining up the bead. I think the red dot will help her with having more success. Thanks for the advice guys.
