Congrats buddy! So incredibly proud of you and the hunter you’ve become. It’s been a journey, but my what a ride since that first year when you fell flat faced out of your climber when dismounting from 1.5 feet.  SW7 is fixing to go on a tare. Y'all remember last year don't you. ^^^I'd say inatree called it about 3 weeks ago after your first one. Congrats again!

Congrats Matt! From somebody that’s hunted the same land before, i can guess at the amount of hours that has gone into each deer or bird. I admire your drive. I can say with certainty, I’d burn out long before I ever killed 3 bucks in a season on public land. Turkeys now, well that’s a different story. Thanks Austin. You hit the nail on the head. I have a schedule that allows me some free time during the week when my kids are at school to stay on top of the deer and the human pressure. I’ve spent more hours scouting this season than I have hunting by a LARGE margin. It’s fun to find the hot sign and put a plan together. I encourage anybody who’s thinking about hunting public land to give it a try. The reward is worth the work and if I can help anybody get started I’ll be glad to help.
