I have the chance to turkey hunt in Western Kentucky near Salem and Marion next Spring. Season starts April 13th and ends May 5th. Any Ideas on what the best dates are for that area?

I hunted up in Marion a few years ago and that area was slap loaded with big old fat turkeys. I'd go as early as possible because you can bet that even if the land you hunt isn't molested, the neighbors are pouring the groceries to them.

We went opening weekend last year. We hunted turkeys in a blizzard. We still we’re successful but it was dang sure interesting. We normally go the end of the second week

take your kids hunting and you won't be hunting your kids
