25 ft up a tree in my climber in Coosa county. No deer yet but had six turkeys feed through.

Finally back in the woods. Only third time this season. Have my bow with me.

Headed to work. Deer were moving pretty good . Seen 2 small bucks and 4 doe

Well I went this morning really just to scout a cut over and creek bed so I did a slow walk.. saw about 8-9 deer just doing that.
Forgot that I brought a banana to eat that happened to still be in my pocket. Now have a pocket full of banana purée.

I just saw a little 4 point.

May find out deer like the smell of banana. Maybe a new attraction scent or cover scent

Nothing this morning down low. Moved up higher this afternoon, bumped 2 out of their beds climbing up tree, I knew I was close but I thought they were bedded higher up in some thick stuff. Oh well, I’m not gonna move now. They couldn’t smell me, I had a good wind. They didn’t run too far either.

I've gotten 2 daylight pics of a buck I've only seen twice. Both times I was coming home from work right at dark and saw him slipping along the edge of some nasty stuff. He's probably 4.5 years old. I got 1 morning pic and 1 afternoon pic over the weekend. Same trail. I'm watching it until dark.

I bet I saw 25 from 9 to 11 this morning they were everywhere

Sitting in my ol man with an old friend, my dads old winchester. I started chasing deer with this 30-30 about 30years ago. Never killed one with it. Feels like a good day to settle an old score.

An owl just tried to attack me. I got it on video. I'll try to post it later.

Good looking spot and a nice rifle too. I can never see a deer in open timber.

On a point between two draws half way between about 100acres of cutover and alot of feed. All signs point to good spot. Kindof a funnel

Saw a real good deer crossing valleydale at Donahue auto just after dark
