The wife will be graduating from aum this weekend and we’re lokking for a nice place to eat .

The only requirements are that it Needs to be kid friendly and have fries, (my 3yo son is a picky eater)

I’d take the drive to auburn and eat there instead.
The hound is my favorite there.

Pretty much all there is in Montgomery is chain restaurants or fast food unfortunately.

What's the budget? There are some decent places out by AUM. Firebirds, Sommer's Place and Bonefish Grill Black Fish Grill come to mind. Then there are a million other places that I think fall a tad below those. You can look at the menus of all those.

If you want to go downtown or Cloverdale, there are some more good places. I'm partial to Jubilee Seafood at Cloverdale in that area.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Yep, Jubilee with the kid

My 3 year old loves their chicken fingers and waffle fries

If no kid:
La Jolla
City Grill
El Rey
The Pub
Vintage Year
Central

If it's in the cards I would get a sitter for Jr and take the wife to Acre in Auburn.

Acre is great. But no better than La Jolla or City Grill, and they’re 3 miles from AUM

Never could get that name right. My kids about choked from laughing the time I called it the Blackhead Grill. I generally call the Bonefish Grill the Bonehead Grill too. Hate it closed. That spot has had a rough time keeping an eating place there.

Well over an hour round trip for a single meal with a 3 year old? You must not have kids laugh

I live in Montgomery.... kid’s menu for picky eater is tough. Maybe Sinclair’s, The Pub is always good but pricey. But man..... she’s graduating enough said. NOW..... if Auburn is in the picture I would recommend Hamilton’s downtown! Pork tenderloin or fresh catch. The owner went down to the lodge my son was helping manage in Argentina this summer. George knows good food. Enjoy your evening and consider a babysitter. Many more family dinners, one night for you and momma goes a long way!😜

Aint familiar with the food but man i pulled in there to get gas at high noon and somethin was strange. It wouldnt let me pay at the pump so i walked over to the front door and it was locked. The lady just lookin at me from behind the counter which was almost completely covered in protection glass. I pretty much had to beg her to open the dang door then she immediately locked it back? Im thinkin what is goin on here? I got my gas and left. I looked around and just saw a few rough lookin guys sittin around and walkin the streets. Boy the garbage was everywhere. This was the first montgomery exit comin back from florida on 65 north bound. I must have been in the real bad part of town or somethin?
