Other than SSS, anyone have any remedies to keep a dog from digging, or at least deter them? No problems out of my dog, Golden Retriever, but the wife HAD to have a Yellow Lab puppy. She’s about 6 months old now I guess and is wreaking havoc in the flower beds.

Tell the wife that's what lab puppies do. Get used to it.

I broke my adult female lab from digging tunnels down the side of the foundation on my house with a Tritronics collar.

Shovel up a fresh pile of his $hit, and throw it where he's digging. Worked with two of my Labs. They won't dig there.
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Shock Collar, beer and a chair.

She’s about 6 months old now I guess and is wreaking havoc in the flower beds. Heh, buddy of mine bought a Lab pup, then when it was several months old bought a prefab doghouse out of some sort of particle board material. Came home from work the next day, it was little pieces of particle board and shingles all over the yard...

Buddy of mine had this problem. He read the way to break them was to fill one of the holes with water and stick their head in it and hold it under a few seconds, then repeat. He was told twice was all that was needed. He did this. When he let go of the dog, it looked at him and stuck its head back under water. So much for that. That's funny as hell. Bout what I'd expect from a Lab pup.
