I lost the ability to use my legs in a cougar attack once...well, twice to the same cougar.

Wouldn't the buck have deformed antlers rather than being symmetrical like they are if it had an injury like that ?
I've killed several bucks with old injuries that had deformed antlers is the reason for the question
