Sitting some select cut pines watching the fog roll in and listening to 2 groups of turkeys talking back and forth. Good luck

Parker243 and I are in Lamar county, came to change out sd cards, decided to hunt this morning before doing that. This place has had 0 pressure, and we won’t be back until the rut, maybe a big boy will come by, and if not, the rain should wash away our presence.

The fog is so thick coming from the swamp I'd just about have to cut a porthole to see out of to shoot. Good thing I’m bow hunting so everything is up close.

Sitting the power line. Deep fog in the bottoms. Saw 2 yotes walk out so far. If my boy had not loudly asked to shoot them we would have lol.

Up a tree on an old grown up food plot. Real good buck area but fog and swirling wind is making tough. Maybe one will slip up.

At the office this morning catching up on work before hitting the road this week for meetings, I hope to get a sit in this afternoon and break the spell haven't seen a deer from the stand yet in Alabama. Several coming and going but nothing while in the stand. I did manage to get stung by several wasp Friday morning before I could bail out of the shooting house.

I just got into hunting last year so I could have something other than fishing to do outdoors with my son as he gets older. I'm 40 so I got a real late start. Tried hard last year with no luck. Started actually seeing some deer this year. This morning finally got it done. I couldn't be happier that my first deer is this guy still in velvet.
