I hope you learned a lesson about waiting and giving one time to bleed out. Going in after the shot often results in a lost deer. Unless you see or hear one crash, NEVER walk up and give it a chance to run off.

A 110 from a 308? Must be singing. Why this choice though?
I sure you’ll find him. Hunting row crop land puts me near property line is and I want a tough bullet that I can shot thru both shoulders

Are you gonna check your zero? Or do you think you just pulled the shot?
Good luck, I hope y’all find him soon. I think I was pushing my luck with available light, he stood in weeds with just his head visible for a while before he stepped out and gave me a clear shot. I had a good rest and don't think I pushed the shot. I hope you learned a lesson about waiting and giving one time to bleed out. Going in after the shot often results in a lost deer. Unless you see or hear one crash, NEVER walk up and give it a chance to run off. I saw him go down in the beans, that's why I headed to find d him with what little light I had left.

Found lots of bone at first hit site, leg shot for sure. Ammon and Woodrow coming, I need some closure, sick at my stomach for making such a bad shot. I blew one's front leg off. Heard it flopping in the brush and knew it was a bad shot. I got down and chased it down and shot it. It would have bled out eventually. Yours should be easy to track.
