On the ground in a hardwood bottom. This is a travel area leading to a foodplot. Hoping to surprise one. The wind has really picked up in the last 30 minutes with the cold front moving in.

Why not set up on the ridge on either side instead of right in the bottom. It seems your scent would just be trapped in the gully.

I normally do, but I can't see anything until the leaves drop more and the wind is good right now....straight nto me.
