Talked to an older man at church yesterday about hunting and said he needed some hep cleaning up his land so I spent the last few hours cutting limbs and cleaning massive wasp nests out of shooting houses. We stayed away from two fields so I’m hunting one of them this evening.

Deer are moving late morning so sleep in.

That was the best sit I've ever had, without shooting a deer. Amazing what hunting well managed property is like. Unfortunately, that also means you can't just shoot whatever you want rofl

I ended up seeing what I think were at least 14 different deer, mostly does, 1 four point, 1 six, and one fat daddy right at dark, couldn't make out the antlers.

Was a great evening! I hope I get to hunt there again this year.

It was a quiet evening on my place. Only heard one shot and didn't see a single thing.

Rain in Jackson Coumty ; sat this afternoon in a shooting house on my sons land. Watched 11 does and fawns for about an hour , don't know what they saw but something caused them to leave the field as a group . Not alarmed just all left. Nothing came in from about 3:50 till dark. Enjoyable afternoon, one doe came in with 3 fawns and all 3 tried to nurse her as she fed.

I took my two sons hunting. They are out
Of school for Thanksgiving. My youngest
son Jayce is 10 years old, he killed a nice
8 point yesterday. My other son Dylan killed
a button buck this morning. It was his first
time sitting by his self, he said it looked like
a monster doe. It may have weighed 40 pounds
but I am super proud of both
them.
