Beyond a hundred yards and not within line of sight....Has supplemental feeding during the season made a significant difference in your rate of success or increased your sightings?

I think it's kept more small bucks from being killed by the neighbors.

Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

If your success rate, or sightings has increased, then you are no longer supplemental feeding, you are baiting, and will be ticketed rofl

Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

we established 2 sanctuaries in the core areas of our property and feed year round in them. We are seeing usage at all times of the day from multiple deer. During the rut last year, we had multiple bucks using that area as the does had congregated in those areas.

Overall, we are not feeding to increase sightings but to ensure our deer have high quality food to maintain their health, but as a result of this, yes we are seeing more deer using these sanctuaries as their core area.

I’m feeding to attract more deer to my property but Hunting well within the confines of the law.

The closest stand we have to a feeder is a shooting house on a foodplot that faces the other direction. The stand is roughly 250 yards away from the feeder.

We have a bachelor group of young bucks that hit that feeder 24/7. It’s a trough style and they can eat 150lbs every 7 days. The oldest buck in the group is 3.5 and he routinely hits it during the daytime. With that being said those bucks spend just as much time in the foodplot as they do the feeder. One hung out in the field over an hour and a half Saturday evening.

We don't bait, we supplement their feed. We just know what works for us...

[x]"to ensure our deer have high quality food "[x]

If it is corn it is not a high quality food.

It it is protein pellets or soybeans then it is a high quality food.

I agree with what you are saying: Protein in the summer and corn/protein in the winter. They need to carbs from corn to build back after the rut.

Thought about trying peanuts. Anyone have any experience?

I am in a club that doesn't feed, I also have 2 private properties I have hunted
for years. On the private land I have feeders on, that are beyond the 100 yard
Out of sight guidelines.I feed corn also, and have at least 7 different good bucks,.
Using them.I am waiting to draw more bucks and does from the other properties
to hunt these 2 private properties. Meanwhile I have been hunting at the club regularly.
On the club I am seeing deer just about every hunt just wait on a good buck.
