I am perhaps in need a of a pop up blind ti get tot a buck that rarely leaves 150 acres of 6 year cutover. What I am most concerned about with a blind:
- Must be quiet, easy and require little movement to setup. - must be good for glassing a hillside with binos. - Able to withstand element to be left outdoors for a couple weeks. - hold two hunters (kid or wife) - budget is tight. So cheapest might take the cake.
What are your thoughts? I havent used one in over ten years.

Ive got a baronette pentagon. Its plenty roomy enough for several people. Pretty good material. Not one to set up on the fly. Wife bought it for me for Christmas last year, I told her I just wanted a good one. Its a good one. A little overkill. You could put a twin sized air mattress in there and take a nap.spent alot of hours in there this turkey season. I would recommend the blind but not for the situation you described.

I have an Ameristep two-man blind. I'm only 5'10" but wouldn't want anything smaller. Make sure the windows don't have noisy velcro.

Ya'll are just overthinking it now

i just picked up a Rhino 200 from Walmart for $88. Set it up and it looks really good and it’s roomy inside. I’m a tall guy and this will easily fit 2 people. I leave them in place for awhile so I put 2 computer chairs in the blinds so it’s got plenty of room. Large long windows on 2 sides and 2 more smaller windows on the other 2 sides. Windows have “shoot through” screens and the covers and door are put in place with clips so very quiet.
I make things go BOOM!

I hunt on ground 80 percent of time...never bout blind..I hunt natural blinds or cut a few twigs and stick in ground and hunt wind this applies to bow huntin too...just be really aware of what's happening

I hunt out of ground blinds a lot. Lots of good ones out there. Here are my suggestions. Get one that you can stand up straight in if you plan to stay in it for any length of time. Bigger is usually better. I have a 3 man Cabela’s brand (I usually hunt by myself) that has slide windows which are awesome, and I won’t ever go back to Velcro, EVER!!! I hunt “roads” through pines and leave them out all hunting season (private land). I only open the windows just enough to see out of. I also have a swivel ground blind chair and a Buddy heater. I often stay all day, especially during the rut and on rainy days. With the slide windows, I use the bottom of the of the opening as my gun rest. It’s actually very solid. My shots are under 150 yards. I still use climbers, ladder stands, and shooting houses, but the older I get, the more I am enjoying ground blinds.

The Ameristep Doghouse blinds are decent for quick setups. You can literally pop one up in about 10 seconds, and you won't have a problem with them being out for extended periods of time but you will need to stake and tie them down if you plan on leaving them out.
These are cheap alternative blinds to the hub style. They are only $50-$60 but their longevity is non-existent. The hub style are much heavier and bulky and tougher to set up but they will last a lot longer.

Barronett Big Mike is a tough, well built blind. It's so tall you can stand up and shoot a bow out of it.
