Yeah, that is sure a tough choice. Going to watch a disappointing AU team play a subpar opponent or the opener of deer season? I'd get rid of the tickets too. If you're lucky you can find a non hunter that wants to take some kids to see Aubie and the Glitter Girls (what my young daughter called the majorettes when we used to go). Good luck and War Eagle!

My son turned his tickets in and went with the rest of the AU Skeet team to a shoot in Arkansas.

I'm taking My daughter to her first college game. Someone gave us the tickets, and they way up on top, but hoping there will be some good open seats to borrow :-) This will be the first opener I've missed in 38 years, but she's just a little bit more important.

She'll love all the pageantry and Aubie's antics. Oh and there is a game going on too, not that she'll notice.

I was thinking about mine when she was about 6 or so. Everything, all the sights and sounds and people were great to her. The football game was just a distraction to her. Her favorite part of the game was halftime. One game I traded 3 primo seats to get 4. They were in the end zone on the first row on the bricks kinda close to the visitors side. The kids had a ball cutting up with the Wildcat. Sucked for watching the game but we got all the upclose colorful language.

I wouldn't doubt that you could get all the tickets you want for free outside the gate at both the Bama and auburn games today.
