I got some pictures on a cam today of a flock of turkeys! Not just one or two but a flock! Like 20+ hens, we have seen no poults and no group of more than 4 hens in the past 5 years on our place. It was like Christmas when I saw all those hens today!

I would think it likely that was a flock of young turkeys with several hens. If you have 20 hens in a flock, that would mean you have a lot of turkeys, yet zero reproduction. It is more probable that several hens have gotten together and pooled their poults. By this time of year, it's really hard to tell a young turkey of either sex from a hen.

But either way, congrats on having turkeys. I've seen more young turkeys this year than I have in decades.

I've seen the same. The next few years look very promising.

Seems to been a good hatch this year here too. Even the late born poults that I raise at the house are as large as my 5+ yo hens I have, males would be the only ones you could identify as juveniles this late in the year.

Once they enact a 3 bird limit we will have so many turkeys they will be a nuisance animal.

We seem to have a good crop this year as well. Nice sized groups.
