coffee makes me a might bit nervous when I drink it I laughed out loud. I don't know what stage of coffee drinker I am, But the other morning I said," Damn, that's good." after my first sip of the day. For some reason I've started drinking a whole lot more coffee now that I have a kid.

coffee makes me a might bit nervous when I drink it Mmmmmmm I can't have no more than 2 cups, but it'll damn sure get your bowels moving lol. Just the smell of it sends me running to the chitter in the morning Had to give up creamer for that reason. No sugar either.

I have never put creamer in coffee. I used to put a little sugar in it. But, I learned to buy better coffee that wasn't so bitter and now I drink it black. What would be "better" coffee that doesn't have such bitter taste? I've just started to try drinking it again and I am looking for the one. What are y'alls preferred brand and blend?

Couples Negril served true Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee every morning and it was absolutely wonderful straight up with nothing added. I have been searching high and low to try to replicated it ever since.

I usually drink it straight black.....every once in a while, I'll get a hankerin' for cream/sugar.
Same here. It amazes me how many people are shocked when I tell them I want my coffee black or my whiskey straight. I was going to say, the ones who mix their coffee with creamer are the same ones who mix their whiskey with sprite or coke.

Black local honey when available.
I think you meant to post this in the parking lot extracurricular thread. Maybe, define "local"

I drink my Whiskey Straight, I have only found a couple kinds of coffee over the years that I could drink black..

Yep, started out drinking a cup a day in cold weather. A little coffee with sugar and creamer. Started dropping the sugar and creamer, but still only drank it in cold weather. Until my first son was born...in June...started drinking a couple cups (black) every morning and continue to this day.
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

fresh ground beans for me. for now, colombian santa marta from publix, brazilian oberon from village coffee in troy. $10-$12 a pound of beans. NOT expensive when you figure per cup price of maybe 25 cents or less. if i have to go grocery store ground coffee, then it's mcafe or 8 o'clock. OK coffee off the shelf ...
