When I first started drinking coffe I had to put cream and sugar in it. Usually some type of flavored cream such as French vanilla

Then it got to where I would just put in some sugar.

Now I just drink it black. Rarely put anything in it.

I usually drink it straight black.....every once in a while, I'll get a hankerin' for cream/sugar.

Straight black and strong. Only put sugar in it when I was 10.

I have never put creamer in coffee. I used to put a little sugar in it. But, I learned to buy better coffee that wasn't so bitter and now I drink it black.

As you get older you build a tolerance for bitter taste. I believe it comes from having to live through the
Clinton and Obama years.

Same here. It amazes me how many people are shocked when I tell them I want my coffee black or my whiskey straight.

Agree that better coffe does make a difference. And having a key rig is nice because it’s easier to try different brands

black coffee drinker & typically only buy whole beans & grind at the time of brewing ... Anderson's Coffee in Austin, TX is an excellent roaster ...

It's because they've been trained since childhood with "dipping sauce" for everything that their food and drink must have additional somethings with it.

Might go with a shot of vanilla or Bailey's now and then, but otherwise it's black coffee for me.

I’ll put a pinch of Splenda in mine but that’s it.

A usually use a splash of milk mainly just to coot it off enough to drink......I have no problem drinking it black though. We made some the other morning at hunting camp in a percolator. Nothing like a good ol' timey percolator.

In the break room at the office a few days ago, one of our new employees fresh outta college asked me how many cups I drink in the morning. When I told him at least six cups a day his jaw about hit the floor.

Yep, I have a big stainless cup that will hold five cups. I fill it up and usually finish it by 10-11. Everyone in the office is always like damn that's a bunch of coffee. They don't know that it's the only thing standing between me and a homicide some mornings.

Just a reminder. Loves has stepped up their coffee shop. Better coffee and Stoks caffeine shots for that Friday afternoon drive home. Way better now than the flyin J.

black or black with a splash of bourbon - just depending on what time of day it is.

If the coffee is bitter just add a little bit of salt. I promise, makes a huge difference.
