Alright folks, seeing as how this is the first day of ML season, and considering modern gun season starts Saturday, let’s once again talk shot placement. Tell the following:

1. What firearm/caliber you’ll be shooting,
2. What spot on the deer you plan to shoot.

If it was just an eating deer I would shoot him just at the top of the1. He would probably be a mounter so I would probably poke him on the bottom left leg of the X.

280 Remington, 160gr Accubonds over a stout load of R-23 at 2900fps, or a 7x57 with 139 Hornady SPs over a moderate load of H4350 at 2850fps, and with either I ATTEMPT to shoot at N or O, but seem to have a habit of hitting high lately and clipping the spine, which is not all bad.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I'll be toting a 280 AI on opening day and plan to hit in the N O area.

II usually shoot between the F and G at all distances on a broadside shot.
