I was gonna go this morning. Walked out to a 25 mph wind and heavy misty rain. Now sitting in my den drinking coffee.

Back on the ground in Coosa county. Had a turkey walk in about 20 yards from me, but that's it.

I’m back in the water oak hollow where I killed the doe Sunday morning. There’s too much sign in here to not hunt it. The wind is swirling, but deer can come from anywhere here...2 fawns eased by me at 30 yds before I’d pulled my bow up...good luck, everyone!!

Where do you hunt in Winston County? Our place is on the west side of the county, just east of Natural Bridge
