Set up in the dark on a random spot. Wasn’t feeling confident about it. Out of no where I hear something behind me 1 buck, no 2, no 4, wait 5! Bunch of young 6 points but it was awesome to watch them spar and rub and just bs around doing deer stuff. No shot, but tons of fun to watch

Lucky you, I've set up on game trails twice COVERED in white oaks dropping acorns (ground is covered). Have seen 0 deer. Only for morning sits though.

10 does and one borderline shooter in Illinois so far. Gonna try and stick with it all day.

Beautiful afternoon, sitting on a greenfield with a persimmon on the edge still dropping. I dont think I’ve ever hunted persimmons this late. they’re always gone by the opening of season

Tuscaloosa County schools sent out a message this morning stating that the extended day program would be available today. Whew! I’m set up on a foodplot we call the Loc-On Field. Been several bucks and a few does killed out of this spot in the last 5 seasons by me and Emmett. Emmett’s wife had to go to Tuscaloosa to run a few errands and Emmett said he’s “dog sitting” and won’t be able to come. Yeah, I’m going to give him hell tomorrow about it.

Up a tree. Sweating like crazy on wheeler fighting mosquitoes. Was able to get off with enough time to hunt a little.spot close to the road. Maybe a slick head will come by.
