This summer I bought 4 new Moultrie cameras. 3 of the m-40i and an m9991.
Not sure if I just got a terrible batch or what but every single one of these cameras have been complete garbage. None of them take night pics there’s no flash. 2 of the m40 cameras appear to have a red filter on them during the day and the m999i batteries die after about 100 photos. I email them about the battery life on that and was told that because the modem I have on it doesn’t have excellent reception that it drains the battery. Have thousands of pictures of nothing but a black screen on my mobile account. It’s frustrating lol.

I sent the m40’s back and sending the 999 back as well. So far not too impressed with their cs on communication. As long as I get some cameras that work right without taking a year then I’d be happy.

Anyone else have problems with Moultrie cams?

I've had that same issue out of some 990is that I bought a few years ago. Sent the original three back and got new ones and had to send two of those back. After the second set though we were running fine and have been ever since.

Just bought two m40i`s. Wish I had read this last week.
