Up and getting ready to head out soon, had to change my plans on where I’m hunting though. Tore my meniscus yesterday morning at work so I’ll be in a shooting house this morning. Good luck everyone.

Set up on a foodplot in some thinned pines. It’s moist out here this morning.

Had one grunt a couple times about 50 or so yds to my right but the squirrels started going nuts so I’m doubtful

Hate to hear that I’m three weeks post meniscus surgery. It’s killed my bow season, and really most of the season since I can’t use my climber. So the one bow hunt I’ve been on was close to the truck and in a shooting house. I’ll will say this my knee felt better literally as soon as I woke up from anesthesia.

I just climbed up for me an afternoon to dark hunt. It's gonna test my endurance to sit for 5 hours. It's a little muggy but I've finally cooled down after the climb.

I'll be in a tree in about 1.5hrs. haven't sat the stand I'm headed to all year. I hope this front headed our way has them feeding this afternoon

Nice looking spot Shaw. Good luck to all of you that are lucky enough to be in the stand this afternoon and not at work.

Hopefully the deer will be moving this evening with the front moving in later tonight.

Thanks Yeah it hurts pretty bad, kinda forgot how bad. Had similar problem back in 93. Me and my son are back out here, he got off work early so he’s in his shooting house and I bit my lip and climbed into my favorite spot. Hoping they will get to moving before the storms roll in, had fresh tracks on the trail out here.

Seven straight hunts for me without even seeing a deer.
