I’ve been looking into getting into bow hunting. What bows do y’all recommend for someone who’s not looking to spend a fortune to find out if they are going to like it. I’ve been looking at the mission switch as I like the option of the adjustable cam instead of having to replace the cam. Any other good entry level bows y’all recommend?

Do you know your draw length?

Buy a used bow. Post that you are looking for one in the aldeer classifieds.

You've been here long enough to know this belongs in the bow hunting section. Why ask a bunch of gun hunters that only sit on food plots? slap

I’m not completely sure.. I’d guess between 27 and 28 as I’m only 5’10

You make a valid point. If the admins want to move it I’m ok with that... didn’t even think about posting it there

Dint guess your draw length. Find a good bow shop and find out your draw. Also, buying a used bows fine but, go to the bow shop for set up. As far as used bows, if ya not sure what to look for, don't do it. There's people that will sell a damaged bow.

Craigslist and the Aldeer Classifieds are your friend....If you have a buddy that is into bowhunting enough to know what to look for, have them check it out with you. You can get really good deals on a 2-3yr old bow if you look even a little bit. Bow hunters are worse than golfers about having to have the latest/greatest/newest stuff, and selling their lightly used stuff pretty cheap.

Was going to tell you, you can’t go by height... I am about same height and 25.5” draw.

T-Rex arms. Also have to get +1” on golf clubs.

Good call getting fit

Craigslist is your friend. Just make sure you don't but one that's the wrong draw length and non-adjustable so you don't have to wait ordering modules.
