Yep, MC. I hate them. Once you drive one far enough into a tree to hold there's very little left to climb on. Actually, it's a spindle from a cotton picker.

I knew what it was but didn't know what bow hunters used them for. We used them for drop pins in the barn to hold a cut gate shut/open when working calves
