I’m set up at the intersection of a hardwood logging road and a draw that T’s into it. I’m also between a greenfield and bedding area both are at least 350 yards away and I’m right in the middle.The White Oaks are falling around me as I wait for daylight. Good luck everyone! This is usually a busy little area but nothing so far. Want to give it 30 more min but my stomach is growling and a pecan waffle would be great right about now.

Beautiful morning up until about 7:45 when Emmett came walking in on me. I called him at 7:17 last night on my way home to let him know I had killed one. He didn’t answer and didn’t call back before I went to bed. He got up this morning and just happen to check his phone and saw I had called, only he thought I had called at 7:17 this morning. So he tried to call me back. I don’t get a cell signal in that spot so he couldn’t get me. He thought I had shot one or something had happened. He only lives about 10 minutes away and hauled ass up here. It’s good to have a friend like that, but I’m still going to give him hell about it. "I hate rude behavior in a man. I won't tolerate it." Emmett’s set up about 600 yards from me on the other end. Hopefully he’ll let me get my hunt in this evening.
