Ive never met a person ticketed for hunting over a mineral site its better to just buy some trace minerals stocksalt and dical and mix it into a hole in the ground its not as obvious, alot cheaper and lasts for several months

That it is and they will bust you for it. Nothing is legal but plain white salt. Go figure.

Yea, they say it's naturally occurring. It is, in Utah or Colorado. It specifically says trophy rock is legal to hunt over. It doesn't mention bio rock, or any others, just trophy rock. Somebody's getting some kickbacks. Just another stupid Alabama game regulation.

It's illegal. I know a guy who got a ticket for one about the size of a tennis ball. The hunter thought it was gone but the GW had photographed the area for several weeks and knew exactly where that little chunk was still laying, picked it up and showed the hunter. And if I remember right it was a Trophy Rock

Yeah it's naturally occurring, but it didn't just find it's way in the middle of a food plot on its own it's own. At least that's what a buddy was told lol. And I agree it's a bunch of BS

I thought it was illegal to, it used to be, but Fred will be along and post where they legalized it in the regulations.

The dept officially says it is legal to hunt over, that is the last word.....even though the law says different. Go with what Mr Lewis said.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

My question is do they work any better than plain salt?
I’ve got 3 different places I’ve been putting 100lbs of plain salt In each per year for 20+ years and now they are about 6 foot around and 3 feet deep. I rarely see a deer walk past them without getting a little lick.

Trophy Rocks are amazing I just needed to know for sure they were legal to
hunt over. I got a for sure answer today I called Montgomery game and fish
and spoke to a game warden. He said Trophy Rocks are 100 percent legal to
hunt over, but only the name brand Trophy Rock. But yes Hornhntr they do
Work and will draw deer to them from other areas. Thanks for info guys.

So how do they prove it’s a trophy rock and not another brand if you don’t leave the label on?

Only the name brand Trophy Rock, huh. That proves my theory that somebody's hand is getting greased pretty dog gone good. Bio-rock is a mossy oak rock that's just like trophy rock, it's just got their name on it. I'm guessing as long as its a rock, you'll be ok, just nothing man made.
