We flipped a coin on stands this afternoon and he won. He came to the edge of a small greenfield about 5:45 with 4 other bucks. He was in full velvet I’ve never seen one in velvet this late on our place (anyone know a reason he would be?)

I killed a cowhorn spike in velvet around the 1st of November one year that had a large amount of worms around the backstraps and inner loins. Not sure if that's what caused him to still be in velvet, but I've never seen another one like that. Just something to check for.
